Partial Solar Eclipse 2026

Here's a screenshot showing how it looked 1:50pm EDT.
Pictures were taken using a Seestar S50 in Time-Lapse mode.
The telescope was set up in Alt-Az mode at my friend's house in Mays Landing NJ.
I had to take 14 separate time-lapse videos because the Seestar app doesn't correctly
track the Sun and so roughly every five minutes I had to stop the time-lapse capture, recenter the Sun, and then restart the video capture.
I used Claude to perfectly align the Sun in all frames and to counter-rotate them so that the sunspot seen over at the left stays in a fixed position.
