Click on the slider to show stars at specific times.
To select a different line of sight, enter the name of a Messier object (e.g. M2), an NGC object (e.g. NGC869), or an IC object.
Picking a larger Max Magnitude will show more stars but will take longer to download the data from Gaia. Range: 8 to 16.
